On November 1, 2026, British Columbia will not "fall back" an hour.
The new permanent time zone is named Pacific Time (abbreviated as PCT), which is (UTC-07:00 Pacific Time (British Columbia). We are working on mitigating any anticipated impacts that may affect our publicly scheduled course times and would like to remind our registrants that
Public virtual courses run 8:30 am to 4:30 pm PCT and public in-person courses at our Burnaby Training Centre run 9:00 am to 5:00 pm PCT.
Please ensure your personal operating systems and calendars are updated to the new time zone to avoid any discrepancies.
Sep 16, 2026: If you are unable to waitlist yourself for your desired course date, please email ohsadmin@bcfed.ca with your full name, email address, course name, course date and course format.
