The BCFED OH&S Centre operates as a non profit organization.

Course Costs:

  • $1595 per course up to 12 people.
  • Any Participants over 12 are $20 per person for materials cost.
  • Maximum class size 24, minimum 10.
  • Costs cover all course materials, shipping, facilitator meals, travel and delivery time.

Flat Rate Travel Costs*:

  • Flight $750 (Far North)/$600 (North/Kootneys/Okanagan)/$450 (Vancouver Island)/Ferry $160 (Vancouver Island)/ Ferry $90 (Sunshine Coast)
  • Hotel $155 per night
  • Car Rental $75 per day

* If needed.  We have facilitators in many different geographical areas of BC.  Travel costs are only charged if incurred.  Opportunities often exist to reduce travel costs when combined with other scheduled 'public' classes or with other clients.  A detailed cost quote will be provided at time of booking.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 100% less than 14 calendar day cancellation policy
  • $400 14 – 30 calendar days
  • The BCFED OH&S Centre reserves the right to cancel an in-house session with no penalty due to facilitator illness or inclement weather conditions that prevent travel.

Minimum Attendance:

The BCFED OH&S Centre operates as a not-for-profit entity funded by BC WCB.  Our funding agreement requires us to have a minimum of 10 participants per class so that we can reach as many British Columbia workplaces and participants as possible.  If you do not have a minimum of 10 people, our public OH&S schedule may be better suited to your needs.  (SEE SCHEDULE)

Certificates of Attendance:

Will be sent in PDF format via email after the event delivery.


Will be done after the event.  If a P.O.# is required, please send prior to invoicing.

Meeting Room Requirements:

  • Meeting rooms should accommodate expected number of participants, seated with tables.
  • Prefer U shape seating arrangement.
  • Classroom style also acceptable if needed to accommodate maximum size.
  • Table mid ‘U’ for A/V projector mid room.
  • Power cord with power bar or multiple input supplied to projector table.
  • Power cord taped down to prevent tripping.
  • Projection screen.
  • Flip Chart (optional).
  • Access to meeting room for facilitator material set up 30 minutes prior to start time.
  • Does your facility have a projection system/audio that can be used? Y/N


  • Two weeks prior - client agrees to email final participant numbers to so that a correct amount of class materials can be printed and shipped in time for course delivery. (more remote areas require three weeks)
  • Approximately one week prior, receive and store 2-3 small boxes of printed class materials (usually shipped by Greyhound courier).
  • Provide local contact person name, email and phone # for shipping delivery instructions.
  • If your organization has specific content (i.e. forms) you wish distributed at your workshop, it is the client’s responsibility to produce and arrange distribution of these materials.
