The BCFED OH&S Centre operates as a non profit organization.

Course Costs (per instructional day):

  • $1595 per course up to 12 people.
  • Any participants over 12 are $20 per person for materials cost.
  • Maximum class size 24, minimum 10.

Cost includes course delivery day, facilitator meals, printing and shipping course materials, pens and audio visual equipment.

Client provides meeting room, water/coffee/tea and lunch (if desired).

Flat Rate Travel Costs (*if needed):

  • Flight $750 (Far North)/ $600 (North/Kootenays/Okanagan)/ $450 (Vancouver Island)/
  • Ferry $160 (Vancouver Island)/ Ferry $90 (Sunshine Coast)
  • Hotel $155 per night
  • Car Rental $100 per day (rental, mileage & insurance)
  • Facilitator travel time: in/out of remote locations $400

* If needed: We have facilitators in many different geographical areas of BC.  Travel costs are only charged if incurred.  Opportunities often exist to reduce travel costs when combined with other scheduled 'public' classes or with other clients.  A detailed cost quote will be provided at time of final booking.

Minimum Attendance:

  • The BCFED OH&S Centre operates as a not-for-profit entity funded by BC WCB.  Our funding agreement requires us to have a minimum of 10 participants per class so that we can reach as many British Columbia workplaces and participants as possible.  If you do not have a minimum of 10 people, our public OH&S schedule may be better suited to your needs.

Meeting room requirements:

  • Meeting rooms should accommodate expected number of participants seated at tables.
  • Prefer U shape seating arrangement.  Classroom style also acceptable if needed to accommodate maximum size.
  • Table inside ‘U’ for A/V projector - middle of the room.
  • Power cord with power bar or multiple input supplied to projector table.
  • Power cord taped down to prevent tripping.
  • Projection screen.
  • Flip chart (optional).
  • Access to meeting room for facilitator material set up 30 minutes prior to start time.

Shipping/Receiving:

  • Approximately one week prior receive and store 2-3 small boxes of printed class materials (usually shipped by Greyhound courier).
  • Require local contact person name, email and phone # for shipping delivery instructions.
  • If your organization has specific content (i.e. forms) you wish distributed at your workshop it is the client’s responsibility to produce and arrange distribution of materials.

Cancelation Policy:

  • 100% less than 14 calendar day cancelation policy.
  • $400 14 – 30 calendar days
  • The BCFED OH&S Centre reserves the right to cancel an in-house session with no penalty due to facilitator illness or inclement weather conditions that prevent travel.

Certificates of Attendance:

  • Day of course delivery: Printed certificates will be provided if a list of names is provided minimum 10 days prior to the scheduled delivery date.
  • After the course delivery: On request PDF format certificates can be provided via email once an electronic list of names are received from the client.  Due to heavy volume please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery.

Invoicing:

  • Will be done 3-4 weeks after the event.  If a P.O.# is required, please send prior to invoicing.
